My brain was fried by the time I wrote the blog last night and I forgot to put the most important part of my conversation with Steve about his hand. . . Steve was not understanding what is going on with the hand/arm that is attached to his body. I keep trying to assure him that in fact it is "his" hand. I tell him that it is sleeping and that he needs to try and look at it and move it. I told him yesterday that God has enabled our brain to redirect the signals and that he will be able to move it again. He said "NA, that's not possible" So even Mr.Steve will see how awesome our God is and that HE has made us in an amazing and wonderful way! No human or even a doctor, as invincible as they think they are, can make a "sleeping hand" move again. And so I begin to hum the song, "Our God is an awesome God"!
And HE is awesome!

It was great to hear that they had Mr. Steve "standing"....i guess we say that he is truly "standing on the promises of God" - that God will and does heal those who call upon His name.
Just a thought.....I've been thinking alot about his "dead hand" and the shoulder/arm pain he gets. I'm wondering if the doctors/physical therapist have considered that Mr. Steve may have a pinched nerve in his neck from when he fell? (the one of the only ways to relieve that is through chiropractic adjustments). Maybe this is something else to explore.
It was great visiting last week & I want to come visit again soon :-)

Amen to that Becca. I used to sing that song to my son when he was an infant. I would stand him on my legs and while I was singing he would bounce up and down, up and down, laughing like crazy.
Mrs. Steve, I just wanted you to know that Sunday Worship was great. John- John got an "A" for behavior. Also, my Children's Worship lesson was about our God being an Awsome God. Still praying that God will make you all a blessing of joy and encouragement, and glorify himself in you, through all of this for his name sake. And praising him for the blessing you are to me. Be Strong in the Lord and in the Power of HIS might. Eph 6:10. Tell the other's we are still praying. and Hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Romans 5 Laura Milcarzyk
